Soxs - Post Game Results 08/27/08

The Soxs lost today to the Baltimore Orioles 3-11. John Danks recieved his seventh loss of the season while Radhame Liz picked up his fifth win. Paul Konerko and Jermaine Dye each had solo home runs, but Baltimores bats lit up Chicago’s pitching. Mora and Millar each had solo shot homeruns, while Aubrey Huff had a two run homer. Brian Roberts had three rbi’s.
With the Oriole’s win today, they were able to salvage one win and stop from being swept in the series. The Soxs have tommorow off and will travel up to Boston where they will begin a three game series against the Red Soxs Friday night. Javier Vasquez (10-11, 4.37) will pitch for the White Sox, while Josh Beckett (11-9, 4.34) will make his first start for the Red Soxs after missing his last two starts due to numbness in his pitching arm.
